To “spam”, via Internet, means sowing comments, emails or other stuff, with the intention to advertise or distribute a product or other, usually to make money.

One way to spam via Internet is to write specific comments on successful blog, which are then visited by many people.
He who tries to sell a product or advertise a web site, handwrite fake comments or use special automatic programs.
The purpose is to spread the URL, the web address of the website to spam, that is included directly in the text of comment or using a specific field ”Website”, if the system provides it.

In this way the spammer, one who takes the action of spam, spreads the address of the product or the website.
This can be done to bring up the website to spam in the Google charts, so that when someone searches for such a product, he find first that website.
This principle underlies the mechanism, called pagerank, on which Google itself has been created.
That is, more a website is cited by other websites via links and more the website must be important and have to appear first when someone search a particular topic.
Clearly, and fortunately these mechanisms have evolved over the years, and by now we tip more on valorising the true relevance of the content respect what we are searching.
Infact what we care, when we search something on Internet is to find immediatly what we are searching.

By now several days ago I ended up having to delete a big, and daily, amount of spam comments from this website.

The CMS, Content Management System, like WordPress, used by this blog, are increasingly sophisticated and similar to actual computer programs, in fact now become web applications.
They are so famous and widespread over the world what the bad guys constantly trying to find some not updated system, to take advantage and do what they want, also to spam, through the dissemination of comments or not.
So we need to keep these programs will continually updated, an easy operation that can be made directly on-line in many cases using an administration panel, but that always involves a frequent and careful control by the system administrator.

CMS like WordPress allow you to add plugins with new functions and there are also plugins to prevent spam comments on posts or pages of the website / blog.
But if there is any malfunction of the anti spam system and your blog, like this, is visited for example by several hundred people a day, and so ill-intentioned people too, then you have to know how to defend yourself.

Here is first of all the usual principle of common sense.
It doesn’t matter if they ring at the door, write a comment or a email, if the promise to you the moon, the message is strange or inapposite etc., then the deception is quite clear.
It happens, however, clearly, that the attacker do everything possible to simulate a good person.
In the case of spam comments is particularly easy because the villain is writing a comment that seems genuine and sincere, but he entered in the “Website” field the address of the website he wanted to advertise, and if you don’t know this things I’m telling you will not pay attention to it, you don’t look to it and think that he is a nice friend.

So, beyond all, it can be a spam comment or an email that seems to arrive from your bank or a friend post on Facebook, pay attention to the web address that the user have write or on what you should click.
In case don’t click at all, pass over it with your mouse, look if you see overlay on your screen the web address or for example with the right button of the mouse copy the address to another window of the browser.
View it, does it seems strange?
Does it bring to a page that you don’t know, strange, ambiguous, that asks you your data, money, is that in another language..?
Or istead is a well know website, a friend blog..?
But beware, because the stinking intended to deceive you and so he could have write “facebook.com.goofy” rather than “facebook.com” and so on.

Don’t forget to reasoning even on the comment text.
Who wrote it is doing in your own language?
Does the comment seems written by an illiterate or in another badly arranged language?
Does the review wants to praise you with compliments which may refer to any generic blog and any post?
If he say for example “Good blog, I read a long time, is exactly what I was looking for bla bla bla”, it’s in another language and it’s writed very bad, as well as presenting a web address a mysterious polish website that we don’t know what it’s talking about…, then I would say you are confident that you have been fooled!

Unfortunately, like everything, if you don’t know them, they can deceive you.
Maybe for people like me it’s easy why I know something about this field, so I recognize this things, like to recognize a fake user on Facebook is a trivial matter, but for other people, that don’t know what I have write in this post, everything is more difficult.
We must try to fight with these problems like with any other phenomenon due to ignorance and bad intentions of others, trying to spread the little knowledge enough to defend us.

Sunday, a few weeks ago.
I was having lunch with my cousin, at the home of my paternal grandmother.

Just eaten, we head to the attic.
My cousin wants to put the new switches for the lights.

The darkness appears and then goes away.

I remain alone in the dark, between dust and objects of one hundred years old.

What a strange atmosphere.
It might seem like the attic of a house in a horror movie or video game
like “Alone In The Dark“.
The first, of course.

But there are objects.
Items that belonged to someone who came before him.
Someone in some way by which now you exist.
The sun filters through a few holes here and there, illuminating the same … everything.

Here comes the light!
Again.
And it shows new things every time.
As the dark makes you think.

A bicycle appears.
I didn’t see her.

We are me, her and the silence.

A voice from the floors below.
I answer and I go closer to her.

It ‘s very old, it’s all covered.
Nevertheless, I watch it, and I think it’s still working
That is wonderful.

Hours go by.
I ask my grandmother who is the owner of that bike.

I thought it was her bicycle or my grandfather’s bicycle, her husband and instead is older.
It’s his father bicycle, my great-grandfather Italo Bartolini.

With a few words brings up a movie in my mind.
She tells me how he always carried her with that bike, there was a seat on purpose.

It ‘only a moment, but it illustrates entire lives.
Lifes that come before your life.
Lifes you’ve never seen.
Lifes that are also your life.

So much has happened, how many things he sees.
How many roads will have traveled.

Streets of a more difficult time, but also easier.

Who knows how it was…

Some things change, others never change.
And to understand them, we should live them all.

Yes, I agree with them and the problem is that many people do not even have understood their video.

But let’s take a quick step backward / resume.
Since some days, girls / women on Facebook in Italy are writing in their status a phrase like “Mi piace sul…” (I like to do it on…), on the couch, on the chair, on the floor… and bla bla bla!

Now, of course it is and even as also happened last year, when they write the color of bra, there is always someone who falls like a cooked pear.
Ah… I often call them “stupidscatcher phrases” or also “pseudo web for stupid flies”.
If you’re offended, I’m sorry, learn some obvious game of life and think about it next time.

But… this is not the main point.
Infact the worst thing is the reason that would not only justify, but also to ennoble this wise… beh, phrase?
Hear hear, this would have to fight cancer, breast in this case.

The aim is “to spread the message,” as much as possible.
Too bad that, back to the start of this post, the best result is that someone joked with trite observations / pseudoconversation oriented to malice, since this “viral communication of the case” has precisely this purpose.
With obvious and simple fun of certain people who are covered in pure style “sheep” to the nth chain letter.

For heaven’s sake… oh what a beautiful game… oh how many very nice fish, we end up in… ullallà!
Too bad that in general, instead of informing and raising awareness for cancer, has released almost a joke to amuse a girl act in front of the easy sexual fantasies / curiosity (to be more gentle) of turn chicken.

Oh, it’s hard to tell who the real chicken here between the two contenders.
But luckily, as these two guys in the video, I also know girls who have not joined the clowns and they think that this is not the right way to achieve the noble goal charge.

For a long time, months, years, I thought to create a parallel version of this site in English.
Given the success it has had, thousands of hits a day, I felt that this was the time to start.

After some days while I was working to this thing, today this website is ready: now we can write in other languages, but for now obviously we start with english language.

I’ll start trying to translate my posts.
I’m rusty, because after my english exam for the faculty of engineering several years ago, I didn’t have to exercise and even improve this language, except for sporadic and normal everyday occasions and holidays in case of foreign nations.

But we are organizing, just so.
I’m considering people who could translate in a professional manner even the old posts and not just new ones.

In the meantime, it will be a wonderful experiment that will give an opportunity essential to share our thoughts with the world.
